CPL · The logsheet
The hourly production logsheet, without the paper.
Looking for a logsheet template? CPL is the sheet itself, as an app. The clerk taps once per load in the pit, and the supervisor and the office see each hour against the plan while it is still happening.
What a paper sheet costs you
The total arrives tomorrow
Tallies are added up after the shift and typed into a spreadsheet the next morning. Nobody can act on an hour that ended yesterday.
Every copy is a chance to be wrong
Pit to sheet, sheet to spreadsheet, spreadsheet to WhatsApp. A misread tally or a pasted formula changes the day’s BCM.
The sheet cannot follow the pit
A truck moves to another excavator, the material changes mid-hour, a machine goes down. Paper has no column for it.

Everything on your sheet, and it adds itself up
- Loads per truck, per loading unit, per hour: one tap a load
- BCM worked out from your own figure for each machine and material
- Machine hours from opening and closing meter readings
- Downtime with its cause, and diesel issued to each machine
- The shift report, ready to send as a PDF or paste into WhatsApp
- Works with no signal, and catches up when the signal returns
Not sure what figure to use for a load? How BCM is worked out. More about the app: questions and answers.
